 Mary B
After working as an admissions officer for several years, the college I worked for moved, and I found myself out of a job. I asked the Lord to give me a career where I could continue practicing my customer service skills. I could never have imagined how He’d answer my prayer! Out of the blue, I got a call from Indiana Wellness College, School Of Sports and Medical Massage. I walked in for an interview to join the program, and God made it clear that He wanted me to begin a brand-new journey of helping people in new ways: improving range of motion, alleviating muscle pain, reducing lymphatic swelling, and many more priceless skills that improve peoples’ daily lives. The first job I took right out of school was Restoration Massage. Then, I began studying acupuncture with the long-term goal of combining acupuncture and massage therapy together. During my studies at East West College of Natural Medicine, I learned how to incorporate massage therapy into Traditional Chinese Medicine. Now, I’m studying for my boards in acupuncture while continuing to practice massage therapy, and I am thrilled to be back at Restoration Massage!!
I love laughing hysterically with my hilarious comedian husband, spending time with family, ministering at church, exploring the great outdoors, and composing and performing harp and piano music (Check out my album Heavenly Peace wherever music is streamed ;)).
